Not All Elixirs Are Created Equal - Why Quartz Matters
If you’ve seen Instagram or TikTok videos showing how easy it is to make crystal elixirs—think again. There’s much more to it than just dropping crystals in water. For centuries, crystals have been used to infuse water with energy—but not all elixirs are created equal. Scientific research has proven that quartz has a unique ability to transmit subtle energy, while glass does not.
The Kaznacheyev Experiment: How Quartz Transfers Energy
In groundbreaking experiments conducted by Dr. Alexander Kaznacheyev, researchers observed how living cells communicate through light (biophotons). They found that:
✔ Quartz allows subtle energy and biophotons to pass through, enabling transmission of energetic information.
❌ Glass blocks these energy signals, preventing any transfer.
These experiments prove that quartz transmits subtle energetic information, while glass blocks it. This is why I never use glass containers for making my elixirs. Instead, I use high-quality quartz to ensure that the full vibrational signature of each crystal is infused into the water, making my elixirs far more potent than those made in glass.

Gurwitsch’s Discovery: The First Evidence of Energy Transfer
In the early 1920s, Russian scientist Alexander Gurwitsch discovered that living cells emit a weak light, which he called mitogenetic radiation—now known as biophotons. He conducted an experiment with onion roots: when he placed two onion root tips close to each other, one root stimulated cell division in the other, even without physical contact. However, when he placed a glass barrier between them, the effect disappeared. When he replaced the glass with quartz, the effect remained, proving that quartz allows the transfer of subtle biological energy, while glass blocks it.
Kaznacheyev’s Experiment: The Quartz Connection to Subtle Energy
Building on Gurwitsch’s work, Kaznacheyev conducted an experiment where he placed two groups of living cells in separate chambers—one with a quartz barrier and one with a glass barrier. When he exposed one group of cells to a disease or toxin, the second group also developed symptoms—but only when the barrier was quartz. In contrast, the glass barrier completely blocked the transmission of energy.
